Fire Damper
Fusible link and motorised
Heavy-gauge GI damper that closes the duct opening in a fire and forms a barrier against its spread.
Features
- 16 G GI frame and blades
- Single-skin 3V-groove blades interlock closely
- Opposed blades keep flow disturbance to a minimum
- Without sleeve for duct installation, or with 400, 500 or 600 mm extended sleeve for walls
Fusible link type
- Blades held open by a straight-bar link, fitted as standard
- UL-stamped fusible link melts at 74 °C and a spring closes the damper
Motorised type
- A temperature sensor signals the actuator through the control panel, which closes the damper
